The Litchfield Elementary School District #79 Governing Board has approved new start and end times for the 2025-26 school year. This change aims to make schedules simpler, better coordinate class time and after-school activities, and make sure all schools dismiss students by 3:30 PM.

In April 2025, the school, district, and city police had a meeting about traffic to find ways to make routes to Rancho Santa Fe safer for students.
