The school gained attention for its #SchoolChoice program, which showcased 5th graders in a STEM class learning about health science through the hands-on experience of dissecting a crab.
The school's teachers have obtained funding for 64 projects on DonorsChoose, a classroom platform, showing strong community support and resourcefulness. Seventeen teachers have been involved in these projects.
