Being Updated
The Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) recently named Northside Intermediate School in Opelika a "School of Distinction." This got a lot of good press. This award shows that the school cares about teaching well, helping students grow, and making a real difference in the community. The school also sent out its most recent winter community newsletter, which is all about new literacy programs that the Alabama Reading Initiative has made possible. The update also showed off new projects in the classroom, better teamwork between teachers, and events coming up for families to get involved in that will help the school–home partnership grow stronger.
Q1. What grades can kids at Northside Intermediate School join after-school programs?
