Recently, Jhon L. LeFlore Magnet High School held a big event to celebrate the opening of its newly renovated campus. The new campus has thirty state-of-the-art classrooms and a modern administrative wing. A state-of-the-art sports training facility with advanced recovery tools and taping stations is now available to student-athletes to help them perform at their best. The school also recently honored its most recent group of AP Scholars, which is a big step forward in the growth of its advanced academic program.
Q1. What sets the John L. Leflore Magnet School curriculum apart?
Ans. For students who want to work in a certain field, the school has special magnet themes like Law and Health Sciences.
Q2. Do students in school take the SAT or ACT?
Ans. The school sets up ACT testing sessions to help students meet college standards as part of its college-preparatory program.
Q3. Are there chances to do an internship in a professional setting?
Ans. Students in the magnet programs at schools often do job shadowing and internships in the Mobile area.
Q4. What kinds of arts programs are there?
Ans. The school has a great performing arts department where students do well in dance, drama, and music.
Q5. How does technology fit into the classroom?
Ans. Schools use modern digital tools in all of their classes to help students do better research.
