About Madison Academy

A: Yes, there are many great elements to make it a well-respected school, such as its academics, affordability, caring teachers, science and math programs, and after-school fun, and all create positive growth for students.

Q2: What information is taught at Madison Academy?

A: Teaching is based on state curriculum standards (for example, kids learn what Alabama says kids should learn - for example, reading, writing, and math, also art and gym, computers, and science/math programs, etc) and are designed to be fun!

Q3: How I can help as a parent?

A: Parents are encouraged to be active by volunteering, joining the PTA, attending school events, and working with club and kids after-school activities are available. All help to improve the school for everyone!

Q4: Does Madison Academy supervise kids before or after school?

A: Yes, there are “hanging out” programs, to do fun activities and kids are helped with homework when kids require supervision of longer than the regular schedule.

Q5: What tech is used in the classroom?

A: Kids use smartboards, tablets and learning programs to keep lessons fun and interactive learning with reading/writing/math/science/creative projects, etc.
