Recently, students from New Century Technology High School won a lot of regional robotics and coding competitions, which means they will be able to compete in national events. The school is also celebrating the start of a new biomedical strand in its curriculum. This will give students who are interested in healthcare and research access to advanced lab equipment. Also, a number of students were recently accepted into the National Technical Honor Society for doing well in STEM classes.
Q1. What defines the curriculum at New Century?
Ans. School students focus on a challenging STEM-based education that includes computer science, engineering, and biomedical sciences.
Q2. What is the order of importance for ACT readiness?
Ans. The school teaches students how to think critically, which helps them do well on the ACT and SAT reasoning sections.
Q3. Do students in school do research in the real world?
Ans. Schools work with local tech companies to give students the chance to do internships and work on new projects.
Q4. Do people at the school work together?
Ans. The small-school atmosphere encourages school students to work together on complex problem-solving tasks.
Q5. Are there academic teams that compete with each other?
Ans. Students from schools often compete in robotics competitions and cyber defense challenges.
