Mt. Carmel Elementary School in Douglas County, GA, is celebrating some big accomplishments. The new intermediate school broke ground in Hazel Green, and the school also received a gift from Adtran of $95,000 for educational initiatives. Registration opened for First Class Pre-K as well. Mt. Carmel Elementary earned the 2023 National Blue Ribbon Award and has been recognized as Huntsville's Best School.
