As part of its "21st Century" community-education program, Thompson Elementary School has just started a new after-school enrichment program. The program has chess nights, arts and crafts, and learning events that everyone in the family can enjoy. The first sessions were great for both students and parents. This made people feel like they were part of a group and inspired them to learn in new ways outside of school.
