W.E. Striplin Elementary School was recently recognized at the district level when its building was chosen to host the upcoming mid-year board meeting. This shows how important the school is to the community. At the same time, Striplin has started a new "Numeracy Night" where families can come to campus for interactive math games and other learning activities that are fun for the whole family. The goal is to get students more interested in school and help them love learning outside of school. Parents and younger siblings came out in large numbers to the event, which was praised for making learning fun and easy to get to.
