On April 11, 2025, Jerry Lee Faine Elementary opened its new playground filled with bright-colored equipment and safer play areas. Principal Tina Garst received her NAESP Pre-K–3 certification in May. The school will conduct a Community Listening Session on September 30, 2025 that will engage families to support and enhance student learning and school-community partnerships.
