Highlands Elementary School has elected its 2024–2025 SGA officers as Barrett B. (President), Asher H. (Vice President), and Harper Mae H. (Secretary) as they continue to stay active and plan school events, while also continuing to develop student energy and engagement in the school. Before the start of school, Costco donated 500 backpacks to support students and their readiness for school. On September 25, 2025, Highlands Elementary would be hosting the Kinder Lemonade Stand, and the school will also participate in the "Pinwheels for Peace" demonstration. The school will also host "Rock Your School Day" on October 3, 2025, in efforts to increase creativity through dynamic learning.
