Q1: What do I have to do to enroll my child in Oak Mt Intermediate School?
A: All you need to enroll your child is a copy of their birth certificate, a document proving that you reside within the district or attendance boundary, your child's shot/immunization records, and school records previous to this school if they attended another school previously. The school will assist you through each step of the process.
Q2: What kind of technology do children learn with at school?
A: Children use tablets, smartboards that are touch-enabled, learning applications, and computer labs to enhance their learning experience in math, science, English, and science collaborative projects.
Q3: Can my child stay at school before or after school?
A: Yes. We have programs available that can supervise students before and after school where they can do their homework, have fun and be supervised. This is particularly useful for parents who work.
Q4: What does my child do outside of schoolwork?
A: There are opportunities for music and art, sports, clubs related to classwork, and organizations that provide systems for kids to learn how to be leaders. All of these activities help children learn how to collaborate with others, be creative, and engage in pro-social behavior with other people.
Q5: Does Oak Mt Intermediate have school buses?
A: Yes. If you live close enough, students can take the bus to and from school. Riding the bus is a safe method of transportation for students.
Note: Schedules may change during school holidays. Please contact School for exact Schedule.
