Biography
Prem Jain, an engineer with a Midas Touch, is an alumnus of BITS Pilani, with a flourishing career spanning 23 years.
He was part of a team of engineers financed by Cisco Systems, known as the “heart, soul, and brains” of Cisco. This team created several successful startups that Cisco bankrolled and later acquired for significantly more money. They were responsible for every breakout product Cisco created in the past two decades.
Jain also served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Insieme BU.
He is the recipient of two patents and is a member of the IEEE organization.
Currently, he is the CEO and Co-Founder of Pensando Systems, a cloud and enterprise data center startup founded in 2017 by four former executives from Cisco Systems.
