Highland Middle School, which is at 3530 West Indian Trail Road in Spokane, has 890 students in grades 6–8. At the school, there is 21:1 student teacher ratio. In 2026, 67% of students were good at math and 61% were good at reading. The environment is very helpful because it makes kids want to do their best in school and in their own lives. The teachers here work hard to make sure that each student is noticed and pushed. This makes for a fun culture where people can be both creative and curious. People who live in the Mead area, where homes cost between $410,000 and $680,000, are very interested in how well the school does. Many parents say that the school's academic standards are high and that the sports programs keep kids healthy and interested. This neighborhood is perfect for the school's goal of raising well-rounded, confident people. Everyone in this small town works hard to make sure that every child has a safe and loving place to live. Highland Middle School is one ofthe best middle schools in Washington.
