Chelsea McGinnis, a seventh grader at East Central Heritage Middle School, got into the National History Day competition in Baltimore. After making it through the competition, McGinnis was able to represent the district at the national level. The selection puts the student in a group of students from schools all over the country who are doing historical research projects.
