Pharr, Texas, is close to the border with Mexico. It has the Rio Grande running through it. More than 75,000 people live there, and the neighborhoods are getting bigger. There is a lot going on in the community. Many families live in Pharr because it has good schools and other places to learn nearby. The city's main school district is the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District. It teaches kids of all ages.
In Pharr's middle schools, students have set times for math, science, reading, and social studies. Every week, students go to class, do their homework, and learn new things.
