North Hills Middle School is a public middle school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in a large suburban area. The school is in the North Hills School District and has about 1,075 students in grades 6–8. It has about 14 students for every teacher, which is the same as the district average. It has 77 full-time teachers and four full-time school counselors. North Hills Middle School has a full middle school curriculum that focuses on core subjects like English Language Arts, math, science, and social studies. It also offers enrichment and extracurricular activities. According to data from U.S. News, about 51% of students are proficient or better in math, while 74% are proficient or better in reading. This shows that students do better in ELA than in math. The student body is somewhat diverse, with half of the students being female and half being male. About 28% of the students said they were economically disadvantaged. There are some minority students, but not as many as in urban schools in the area. North Hills Middle School is known for having stable academic performance, especially in reading, and for providing a structured, well-supported learning environment in the suburbs of Pittsburgh.

There is a lot of excitement at North Hills Middle School! The Drama Club at the school is getting ready to put on "The Music Man Jr." from January 29 to 31. This will show off the talents of its students. The school is also holding its Annual Kindergarten Forum on January 21. This is a great chance for parents and guardians to find out more about the next school year. These events show how much the school cares about encouraging creativity and getting people involved in the community.
