In January 2025, Akros Middle School held a Financial Literacy Night in the AkroTech High School Cafe. The event featured workshops on FAFSA help, college credit options, budgeting and financial relationships. The program gave families and students practical information on financial planning and postsecondary preparation. The event was in support of financial education through community outreach and education sessions in schools.
