Being Updated
The South Bronx Academy for Applied Media is known for getting students involved in their communities by having them take part in the YMCA Middle School Youth Assembly in Albany. In April 2026, seventh graders wrote a bill about responsible photography and keeping people's privacy safe online. Their idea won the Outstanding Delegate award for best idea. One of the students in the group was also chosen to be the Speaker of the Youth Assembly the next year.
