Carnage Middle School's new programs are making a big splash! The school has been praised for its excellent gifted and talented program, which puts it in the top 10% of middle schools in North Carolina. Students are also doing well in a number of areas. For example, 76.2% of 6th graders are proficient or better in Math, which is higher than the averages for Wake County and North Carolina. The school also has advanced math, science, and arts programs that get students ready for competitive high schools like Enloe and Wake Early College.
Q1. How does Carnage Middle School get students to learn?
Ans. In a lively classroom, hands-on projects, group activities, and lessons based on questions help students think critically, be creative, and take part.
Q2. What fun activities does Carnage Middle have?
Ans. Students can join programs in music, visual arts, theater, and creative writing to learn how to be creative and express themselves.
Q3. What does the school do to help students stay healthy?
Ans. Counseling, mindfulness activities, and wellness workshops help students deal with stress and give them emotional support.
Q4. What kinds of leadership roles can students take on?
Ans. Student councils, peer mentoring, and group projects are all ways for students to learn how to work together, be responsible, and have confidence.
Q5. What does Carnage Middle do to get families and the community involved?
Ans. Family events, workshops, and community programs get people involved and make the ties between students, parents, and local groups stronger.
