Students and families from Northwest Guilford Middle School were recently involved in a district-wide evaluation of the Educational and Competitive After-School Robotics Grant. The report identified the school’s robotics program as a central institutional strategy for developing STEM identity and a sense of belonging among students. Students received mentors and materials that supported stronger teamwork and engagement in STEM-related problem solving through their work with North Carolina A&T.
