Vanguard Collegiate Middle School is in the news for all the great things it has done! The school recently won the Quarter 1 Mayor's Attendance Challenge, which cut down on chronic absenteeism by 27%. This was the biggest improvement in the district. Students are also doing very well in school. For example, students in the Principles of Engineering class are getting Arduino Certifications, and students in the Advanced Engineering and Design class are getting CSWA Certified SolidWorks Associate certifications. The school is also putting on fun events like a free immunization clinic and a fun skate night.
