Some of these are the Boys & Girls Club, Science Bound, and special empowerment groups like Brother 2 Brother and Sisters for Success. Students can also participate in a variety of competitive sports and creative clubs, such as Cosmetology, Cooking, and Mid Point Poetry, to help them grow as people outside of school. Hiatt is a primary focus for the 2026 bond project, which includes plans for new building additions and labs. The school is currently launching expanded pre-K services on-site to better serve the local community. Advanced digital literacy tools are being rolled out this term to support Hiatt's diverse student population.

Ans. Yes, Hiatt puts on a play or musical for students every year. Students can be in both technical and on-stage roles.

Ans. During "advisory" times, students can get help from a teacher or sign up for the district's 21st Century After-school Program to get more help at night.
Q3. Does Hiatt Middle School have a place outside or a garden where kids can learn?
Ans. Hiatt has an urban garden run by students that is used for science lessons and community service. It teaches kids about sustainability by letting them do things.

Ans. Spanish is the most common language taught in the world, and all 7th and 8th graders can take it as part of their 2026 course schedule.

Ans. Every three months, the school has "Tiger Pride" assemblies and celebrations for students who reach certain GPA and attendance goals.
