A teacher at Vista Heritage Global Academy won the first teacher drawing in the Youth Water Poster Contest in March 2025. The contest that was part of the student water education efforts gave Tea Meskal, who teaches the Energy & the Environment course, the award. The course is part of the Project Lead The Way curriculum and links what students learn in the classroom to issues of the environment and sustainability.
