Douglas MacArthur Fundamental Intermediate had a lot of success in both academics and sports in late 2025. The Speech & Debate team won the SAUSD Speech & Debate Tournament in early December 2025. The girls basketball team won the SAUSD Championship for the fourth year in a row later that year. The cross country team finished second overall at the district intermediate meet in October 2025. The girls volleyball team came in fourth in the district tournament for the second year in a row. The results show that students did well in a number of school-sponsored competitive activities during the 2025 school year.
