See top schools in San FranciscoEverett Middle School, located at 450 Church Street in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA 94114, serves students in grades 6–8. Enrollment is about 467 students with a student–teacher ratio near 14:1. The balance of genders leans slightly male and female, with roughly 54% male and 46% female. The school is a neighborhood public middle school in the San Francisco Unified School District with a curriculum of core subjects and electives typical of its middle grade span and recent enhancements to outdoor learning space. Assigned learners come from several contiguous San Francisco attendance zones that feed into this Mission District campus before students move on to local high school placements. When choosing a neighborhood, many families consider travel time, transit access, and city services, as well as urban values in the Mission and nearby neighborhoods, which can reach $1.85 million. Positioned among middle schools in California, Everett’s defined attendance pattern and basic academic indicators contribute to how it is understood within the wider set of urban schooling pathways without implying performance hierarchy.

Being Updated
Everett Middle celebrated the opening of its newly renovated schoolyard in August 2025. The $6 million project converted a two-acre asphalt area into a permeable turf field, new basketball courts marked for pickleball and volleyball, a track, and a pollinator garden.
