In May of the last academic year, guest author Hans Ness visited Fernando Rivera Intermediate to speak with students about his book 'Rolo the Pet Earthling'. The visit included a campus presentation in which he discussed the writing process and themes from the book. The event provided students with direct engagement with a published author as part of the school’s literacy programming.
