The Chico Children's Endowment Fund recently gave money to the Bidwell Junior High School Foundation. The money is meant to help students who are having trouble finding stable housing through specific programs. The purpose of the grant is to help students go to school more often and do better in school by removing obstacles caused by unstable housing.
