In January 2026, Calavera Hills Middle music teacher Jessie Bullock was named the Region 9 Teacher of the Year by the California League of Middle Schools. The regional designation recognizes selected middle-level educators within Region 9 as part of the organization’s annual awards program. The honor places Calavera Hills Middle among schools represented in the 2026 regional recognition cycle.
