In February 2026, the music department at Martin Luther King Middle planned a number of field trips and performances related to the arts. On February 16, eighth-grade band and orchestra students will go to Berkeley High School. On February 17, jazz programs from all over the district will take part in events. The activities are set up so that students can get experience performing and learn about advanced music programs in the district.
