Bridgeport High School is one of the best public high schools in Bridgeport, West Virginia. It is also one of five high schools in the Harrison County Schools district. Bridgeport High School was recently added to the Silver level of the 2025 AP School Honor Roll. This is a sign of how well it has done in getting more students involved and getting them ready for college through a wide range of Advanced Placement courses. The school is also celebrating its first-ever state championships in girls' cross-country and boys' soccer in the fall. These are the first of their kind in the school's history.
