Latest News

Milestone Democratic School has officially moved into its new permanent building on Winnebago Street. This will give students a place to work together on their own projects in the city starting in 2026. The school recently got a big grant to improve its "Maker Space" by adding better tools for 3D printing and eco-friendly design. The student-led government has started a number of community-based research projects this semester. These projects let students work on real-world problems in the Madison area.
