It has a wide range of Advanced Placement® classes, and 33% of students take them. There are a lot of different types of students at the school. Data shows that for the 2026 school year, 14% of students are good at math and 22% are good at reading. The school sets up important tests like the ACT and SAT to help students move on to college. La Follette High School just opened its newly remodeled aquatic center and athletics wing. This is a big step forward in the school's ongoing efforts to improve its infrastructure. The campus has started a new bilingual education program for 2026 to help its diverse community by offering more world languages and cultural exchange programs. The "Personalized Pathways" program has also helped students by adding new certificate options in health sciences and information technology.
