About Reuther Central High

Reuther Central High School is a public alternative high school in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It serves students in grades 9 through 12 who live in the Kenosha Unified School District. There are probably less than 250 students at the school, and the student-to-teacher ratio is low, about 10 to 1. This makes it possible to give each student individualized instruction and ongoing academic support. Reuther Central High's goal is to keep students interested and help them graduate by offering personalized learning, credit recovery, and flexible educational paths. The way the teacher teaches is based on the basics of school, social and emotional growth, and getting ready for college and other things to do after high school. Students might take the SAT and ACT tests as part of their plans for college and a career. There are a lot of different kinds of students at the school. About 67% of them are minorities and about 74% economically disadvantaged. The amount of money each student gets is in line with what the district says it should be.
