Shorecrest High School is a public high school in Shoreline, Washington. It is part of the Shoreline School District. It is for kids in grades 9 through 12, which is high school. There are about 1,300 to 1,400 students at the school, and one teacher for every 19 students. This makes it a good place to learn that is well-organized. There are three high schools in the district, and Shorecrest High School is one of them. The school has a lot of different academic programs, like tests and classes that are advanced placement (AP). 43% of students are taking AP classes, which are classes that are at the level of college. Students can also take honors classes, career and technical education pathways, and a lot of other things outside of school that help them get ready for college and work. Hoopalooza basketball games are taking place at Shorecrest High School, where students can show off their athletic skills. The school is also celebrating Black Lives Matter at School Week, which is all about fairness and justice in the Black community. Shorecrest students also did very well at the Washington Technology Students Association Conference, where they won prizes in Website Design and Video Game Design. The school is also suggesting new levies to pay for educational programs and services.
