Eastlake High School is a public high school in Sammamish, Washington. It is part of the Lake Washington School District. It is for kids in grades 9–12. There are about 2,000 to 2,100 students at the school, and each teacher has 19 students. This keeps the classroom neat and focused on learning. There are nine high schools in the district, and Eastlake High School is one of them. There are a lot of hard academic choices at the school, like Advanced Placement (AP) classes and tests. About 70% of students take AP classes, which shows that they are very interested in doing college-level work. Students can also take honors classes, career and technical education pathways, and a lot of other things outside of school that help them get ready for college and work. The school has a lot of different kinds of students. About 55% of them are from groups that are not well represented, and about 6% economically disadvantaged. The school year 2025–2026 academic data show that 71% of students are good at math and 93% are good at reading (ELA). Students also take the SAT and ACT to get ready for college.

Being Updated
Eastlake High School is getting a big makeover. Construction is going on to add new classrooms, science labs, and a hallway on the first floor that will connect the main building to the E-wing. The goal of the project is to ease traffic and give students more room. The library is now in a parking lot for a short time, but students can still get books and other resources before and after school. The new buildings should be ready for the 2026–27 school year.
