The International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Jefferson High School honors the school's long history while also embracing modern learning. The IB program gives students a path to academic success that is recognized around the world. The campus just finished upgrading its buildings so that they still look like they did when they were built, but they also added modern classroom technology for the 2025–2026 school year. The Fine Arts department at the school also did very well in recent regional performances, which showed off the students' creative skills.
