A big donation from Ross Stores, Inc. is helping Texans Can Academy – Houston North grow its student support. The money is being used to improve classroom resources and meet the needs of each student. The academy has successfully put in place a hybrid extended-day program and a four-day school week to give students more freedom to balance their schoolwork with other responsibilities. The school is also getting students ready for the STAAR End-of-Course tests in April by offering special tutoring and prep sessions.
