The Mariachi Los Guerreros group from Pebble Hills High School recently won a straight Division I Superior rating at the UIL state competition, which is a big deal for the arts. The campus also got the Purple Star award for the 2025–2027 term, which honors its commitment to creating a welcoming space for students with military connections. Also, student-athletes are still doing well. Recently, several seniors signed national letters of intent to play basketball and track and field at the college level.
