The South Texas ISD World Scholars were recently named an Apple Distinguished School for the 2026–2029 program term. This shows how committed the school is to using new ideas and technology in the classroom. The World Scholars Pan-American Student Forum (PASF) team won 41 awards at the state convention in San Antonio, which shows that students are still getting better and better. For the 2025–2026 school year, the school will also offer new sports programs, such as tennis, softball, and baseball.
