The School for the Talented and Gifted at the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center continues to expand its academic offerings by offering a wide range of 30 Advanced Placement courses. This makes sure that students are ready for elite university settings. One of the most important recent projects is the expansion of "mini-courses," which are short classes that students can take in addition to their regular classes. These classes include a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as ballroom dancing, glass blowing, and more, to help students develop their creativity.
Q1. Does School For The Talented And Gifted support learning through practical activities?
Ans. Yes, students work on projects and do things that help them learn skills they can use in the real world.
Q2. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
Ans. Yes, School For The Talented And Gifted lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.
Q3. Are there chances for peer mentoring?
Ans. Of course, yes! Older kids can teach younger kids how to be leaders, work together, and help each other.
Q4. What can students do to get help with their homework?
Ans. Tutoring, advice, and counseling help students figure things out and do well in school.
Q5. Are there programs that help kids stay fit?
Ans. Of course! School For The Talented And Gifted helps students' mental, emotional, and social health by giving them counseling and wellness programs.
