Calallen High School is a well-known public high school in Corpus Christi, Texas. It is the only high school in the Calallen Independent School District. It serves students in grades 9 through 12 and has about 1,200 students, with a student-to-teacher ratio of about 15:1. The school is known as one of the best in the area and has a 27% Advanced Placement participation rate, which indicates that it has strong academic programs. Students at Calallen High School are currently benefiting from the school's updated STEM research labs, where they are using new technology to get ready for the 2026 State Science and Engineering Fair. Recently, the campus held a celebration for several student-athletes who officially signed with college programs on National Signing Day. The athletes came from a variety of sports, including football and softball. The school has also started a new AP Success Initiative, which includes special Saturday study sessions and peer-led tutoring to help students get ready for their Advanced Placement tests in May.
