Abilene ISD recently named Patricia Anderson the new principal of the Woodson Center for Excellence. She has more than 30 years of experience in education. The school is becoming more committed to each student's success under her leadership by improving the connections between school and home and the systems that help students behave better. The campus is also a big part of the district's launch of Ascend, a new quarterly magazine that will showcase the unique accomplishments of students and staff from all over the community.
