About Valor Flagship Academy

Valor Flagship Academy is a public charter high school in Nashville, Tennessee, that teaches students in grades 9 through 12. The goal is to help students learn and grow as people. The school has between 400 and 500 students and one teacher for every 20 students. This helps with organized learning in the classroom and lets teachers spend more time with students who need it. Valor Flagship Academy has a hard college-prep curriculum that includes core subjects as well as leadership training, character education, and activities outside of school.

The school wants to help students get better at math, English language arts, and critical thinking. It also has optional classes that help students get ready for college and life after college. Students take standardized tests like the SAT to help them get ready for college. Like the city of Nashville, the student body is made up of people from many different cultural and economic backgrounds. About 52% of students are good at math, and about 60% are good at reading (ELA). This is one of the best high schools in Tennessee.
