Phoenix Academy has expanded academic recovery and personalized learning programs to assist students in achieving their graduation goals. New counseling and career-planning workshops give students the opportunity to prepare for the workforce and explore options to continue their education. “Working with the community organizations of Lancaster has led to greater student engagement in service-learning and leadership opportunities.

Ans. Phoenix Academy is a public alternative high school for students who need to recover credits and have flexibility in their learning.
Q2. What is Phoenix Academy like usually?
Ans. The school is designed for credit deficient students, those students at risk of not graduating, or those students who need extra academic and behavioral support.
Q3. Are there regular high school classes at the Phoenix Academy?
Ans. Yes, it has core high school subjects, but with flexible scheduling and individualized learning plans for students to meet graduation requirements.
Q4. What kind of support services are provided by Phoenix Academy?
Ans. Academic counseling, credit recovery programs, attendance support and personalized learning assistance are all offered at the school.
Q5. Are students at Phoenix Academy able to get a regular diploma?
Ans. Yes. Students with the required credits and who meet graduation criteria may receive a standard high school diploma through the School District of Lancaster.
