About Abington SHS

Abington Senior High School is a public high school in Abington, Pennsylvania that teaches students in grades 9 through 12. It is the only high school in the district of Abington. There are about 1,900 to 2,000 students at the school, and the student-to-teacher ratio is about 15:1. This makes for a structured and collaborative learning environment. About 48% of students at Abington High School take Advanced Placement® courses and exams, which shows that the school has a strong academic program. This lets students learn at the college level. The student council at the school has also been busy planning community service projects, such as sending care packages to kids at the Ronald McDonald House.
