About Avon High School

Avon High School is a public school in Avon, Ohio that serves students in grades 9 through 12. It is part of the Avon Local School District. The school has between 1,700 and 1,900 students, and there is about one teacher for every 19 students. This helps them with their regular classes and also gives them more chances to get help one-on-one. A lot of our students are from the suburbs, and a lot of them are from minority groups. About 70% of students are good at math, and 87% are good at reading. It really shows that everyone is doing well. Ohio's state rules and the budgets of local school districts tell us how much money we get for each child and for everything else. This means we have enough money to pay for all the services that help our students, as well as school programs and after-school activities. In addition to state tests, kids may also take the SAT and ACT, which are college entrance exams.
