Being Updated
Park Slope Collegiate, a progressive 6-12 program at 237 7th Avenue, continues its social justice focus, with students exploring Brooklyn history and community issues through project-based learning. In the spring, students can take visual arts, guitar and a theater partnership that produces student-written work. The advisory model brings small groups of students together with a teacher once a week to discuss issues that are both personal and global. Seniors work in small-group college advisory to complete applications and financial aid, with three guidance counselors including a college counselor, and all students have access to clubs and PSAL sports.
Q1. Are there chances to improve students teamwork skills?
Ans. Yes, group projects, clubs, and sports help students work together and talk to each other clearly.
Q2. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
