Mercer County Technical School Health Sciences Academy is a public high school in Trenton, New Jersey that teaches students how to work in health care. It is one of three high schools in the district and teaches students in grades 9 through 12. It is one of the Area Vocational Technical Schools in Mercer County. The academy has between 300 and 350 students and keeps the student-to-teacher ratio close to 11:1. This helps with focused academic and technical instruction. The school focuses on health sciences education, which means that students take core academic classes and career-focused training that leads to jobs in healthcare. About 88% of the students are from minority groups, and about 29% of them come from families with low incomes. In the 2025–2026 school year, about half of the students are good at math and about 84% are good at reading. This means that the students are doing well in school. Students also take tests like the SAT and ACT to see if they are ready for college as part of their college plans. The Mercer County Technical School Health Sciences Academy is a stable place to live that gets money from the government.
