About Eastside High School

Eastside High School is a public high school in Paterson, New Jersey. The Paterson Public School District has seven high schools and serves students in grades 9 through 12. There are about 2,400 students at the school and about 15 teachers for every student. This helps make the learning environment structured and cooperative. Eastside High School offers a full range of classes, including core academic classes, elective pathways, and programs to help students get ready for college. The boys' basketball team at Eastside High School has been on a winning streak, beating Passaic County Tech, Kennedy High School, and Clifton High School in their last three games. The school's JROTC program has also been rated as one of the best in the country.
